The Tour is Coming to a Close

DAY 30 – 33

Author James Kaelan and cinematographer Miles Kittredge have officially passed the 1,000 mile mark and are well into Oregon!

The help continues but the gents are, truthfully, very ready not to sleep, well, in places like this anymore.

DAY 27-29

Well, it appears the gentlemen are leaving the valleys of California.

They were welcomed with ice tea and cats at vacation home along the tour route (yes, we know the irony of a tea kept cold by a refrigerator while on a zero emission tour).

James did, however, learn to use a solar cooker.

solarcookerAnd sleep in the yard, on a pretty nasty incline. Looking at the photos, it appears to be only barely a yard.

tentAnd, our courageous cinematographer, Miles Kittredge, braved throngs of children and the attitude of postal workers to mail footage back to the Flatmancrooked Publishing offices.
